Welcome to the CFIUS - Interagency Portal

Changes as of release 3.4.24:

  • Users can now log into their accounts using their PIV/CAC card, if the email associated with the account is their work email. To do so perform the following:

    1. The user will need to click “Sign In” on the top right of the site’s page.

    2. The user will be given the option to sign in with either the PIV/CAC or ID.ME. Please choose the PIV/CAC option.

    3. Another window will pop up. If the user has their PIV/CAC card inserted the user will be able to select it from this window.

    4. An additional window will pop up asking the user to enter their PIN. Once the user enters their PIN, they will be signed in.

  • The calendar tab for the Review and Investigation module now marks Day 45 and Day 90 for cases in review or investigation.

Section 721 of the Defense Production Act of 1950, as amended, mandates confidentiality protections with respect to information filed with the Committee. It prohibits the Committee from publicly disclosing any information filed with the Committee, subject to limited exceptions. Information and documentary material filed with the Committee are also exempt from disclosure under the Freedom of Information Act, 5 U.S.C. § 552. Consistent with section 721, the Committee does not publicly confirm nor deny that a transaction has been notified to CFIUS. If the parties themselves publicly disclose documentary material or information filed with CFIUS, such documentary material or information may subsequently be reflected in the public statements of the Chairperson of CFIUS.
